About Us

Stevens Book Shop was started in 1954 at Wake Forest, North Carolina to fill the needs of students and clergy for all and out-of-print religion books. Starting with a few books on a card table while in the seminary, Dick Stevens now has over 500,000 books available at his Raleigh location. Most of the books are theological in nature, though you will find books on just about any subject.
